How I became an early riser.
Early Riser
Good morning!  How are you all?  Well PrincessC is bright eyed and bushy tailed
this morning.  This in spite of having been moved to a new morning shift.  Yes my
boss, the one who I work for and make my living from, has the nerve to expect me to
be at work at 7:30 AM.  Now if you want to talk about something to make going to
work really STINK, being there at 7:30 AM is what it would be.

Fortunately, I had about two weeks to prepare myself.  I understand that not
everyone is born a morning person. I’ve also discovered that some people can be
trained to be early risers.  See there are those who are morning persons, and there
are those who cannot function before noon.  My mother happens to be a morning
person and well my father, not so much.

So, when I needed help to learn to rise early, I decided to call upon the words of
wisdom from “The Mother”,..

Okay here is why I went to mom.  Ideally, mom would like to go to bed around ten
PM at night.  But many times, due to my fathers work schedule and late hours it’s
about eleven thirty sometimes midnight before she hits the pillows.  However, she
manages to get up at five thirty every morning and have herself a glass of water, a
cup of coffee and get on the tread mill for thirty minutes.

Apparently, the key to rising early each day is not the time you go to bed but the time
you wake up.  Mom tells me that if I set my alarm clock to a certain hour every day,
yes even on the weekends, and actually get out of the bed, then my body will
eventually wake me before the alarm clock goes off.  The other key is you go to bed
whenever you are sleepy.  So if one day you can stay up with your friends till one AM
playing video games you do so, just wake at the same early morning time.  The next
day you may find however that you’re sleepy at ten PM and that is when you should
go to bed.

I’ll have you know after about two weeks of this you will have your body trained to get
up early and still be rested.  Just listen to your body!

Humm, look at the time.  I must start work.  Chat you up next time

Smiles!
